Michael Paul DeMinico is a Brooklyn based-Director and Producer, specializing in cinematography and editing for short and feature documentaries.
My clients include Netflix, Worldview Films, News 12, Bionews, Meet Cute NYC, Vineyard Wind, The New England Patriots, The Bangkok Post, Samsung, PUMA, and Devon Halsey.
I offer a lean, personalized approach with expertise in directing, editing, and cinematography, scalable for any project. I have an international upbringing in Thailand and recently moved back to Brooklyn, NY, after three years working as a director in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
My debut feature documentary, The Mundo King, captivated audiences at the Lighthouse International Film Festival in June 2019 and reached a wider audience through Amazon Prime and other major VOD platforms in January 2021.
Currently, my short film The Letter has been accepted into an Oscar-qualifying festival (announcement forthcoming), and I am completing the documentary Muay Thai Warrior—a six-year project following Scottish Muay Thai prodigy Judy Humber—slated for release in 2026.
