Michael Paul DeMinico is a Brooklyn-based director and producer specializing in cinematography and editing for short and feature documentaries. He offers a lean, personalized approach with expertise in directing, editing, and cinematography, scalable for any project.
His clients include Netflix, Worldview Films, News 12, Bionews, CIC USA, Meet Cute NYC, Vineyard Wind, The New England Patriots, The Bangkok Post, Samsung, PUMA, and Devon Halsey. His work at News 12 earned an Emmy nomination, and his short film The Letter has received acclaim, including selection in two Oscar-qualifying festivals. He is currently lead editor on the Sam Cutler documentary, chronicling the legendary Rolling Stones and Grateful Dead tour manager.
Michael has an international upbringing in Thailand and recently returned to Brooklyn after three years directing in Chiang Mai. His debut feature documentary, The Mundo King, premiered at the Lighthouse International Film Festival in 2019 and later streamed on Amazon Prime. He is currently completing Muay Thai Warrior, a six-year documentary project following Scottish Muay Thai prodigy Judy Humber, slated for release in 2026.
